So when you&#8217;re building decks, you need to be aware of your options for fire resistant building materials that conform to or exceed San Diego County and California fire codes.  Some great advances have been taking place in the San Diego decking industry to address the need for fire resistance, and we&#8217;ve been working with 5 different kinds of fire rated decking material: 3 composites and 2 hardwoods in a variety of colors and styles. </p>
<h2>1. Composites. We work with the following companies for composite decking in San Diego:</h2>
