There are a variety of new and innovative ways to install San Diego decks with hidden fasteners, no rust, self-tapping and other kinds of high performance deck screws. Here are a few of the products that we use in our customer’s decks. Hidden fasteners look better and you never have to worry about rusty nails and screws.

1. We use high performance deck screws for wood or composite decks. These include composite screws, corrisve resistant, self tapping, and color coated to match. We also use stainless steel screws (best), also providing color coated matching with the deck.

2. Concealed Fastening System – FastenMaster offers a great line of concealed deck fastening screws.

The FastenMaster Cortex Fastening System is the fastest, easiest way to conceal the heads of your deck screws on specific deck board types.

3. TIger Claw – Hidden fasteners for composite or wood decking. No visible screws or caps.

Tiger Claw Hidden Deck Fasteners’ unique patented design produces a smooth “nail free” surface to emphasize the beauty of the wood. Tiger Claw’s unique fastener securely attaches decking boards using “claws” to grab the edge of board in such a way that no fasteners are visible. The fastener is secured to the support frame with a common decking screw. Reduced cupping, splitting, and cracking are benefits associated with this hidden fastener.
